“ The views are fantastic, the Wednesday $5 wine specials are great as well. The connecticut lobster roll (toasted bun with warm lobster in butter) was the worst part. It was a bit rubbery and could have been because we were on the last cruise of the day and it was sitting around (?). In any case, not worth the price for that but definitely for the view and the trip along the Hudson River ”
“ I had an absolutely wonderful time on the 7pm, on a Friday, 2-hour cruise with my group. First things first, the line for boarding was very long, and I wasn't sure we'd be able to get decent seating since we were toward the back of the line, though we did show up at least 30-minutes before boarding. Thankfully, we did get decent seats out on the deck, but weren't able to get seats up at the top of the boat with a completely open view. Still our views were nice enough and I loved that we were able to take some amazing pictures and see the city and Jersey from the view of the boat. The food was absolutely and surprisingly good. As a group, we ordered the French fries, fried popcorn shrimp, corn, fish & chips, lobster roll, warm lobster roll, and hamburger, and everyone enjoyed their food. We all enjoyed our drinks as well. I only had two pepsis but I was pleased that they weren't too sugary nor syrupy nor flat. They were just right. We received stellar service from all of the staff, and though they were quite laid back (perhaps due to us being the last cruise of the day), they were still engaging. Also, regarding service, we were greeted and our orders were taken right away, with drinks first, then appetizers and food, ordered together. The food came out really fast and I was grateful that it did. I highly recommend the experience for all individuals - family, friends, couples, etc. What a lovely and wonderful time. ”
“ Very fun day date. It's a one hour ride and you get to order food and drinks. I loved my lobster roll. Highly recommend. ”
“ This is such a great experience!! Good on a boat that actually leaves the dock. Sitting on the top deck with the sun shining a cold drink in a cute souvenir cup with a tray of ice cold seafood is the dream !! The sunset cruise is stunning and highly recommended ”
“ Wow- we had so much fun. Fourth of July cruise was so worth it. Lobster dinner- the sides were all so delicious. Open bar- fun cocktails. DJ- everyone was dancing and having a great time. The fireworks!! Staff- we're all amazing! ”
“ Ive read this cruise is free? But you can reserve a table for $5/per person. We went on a Wednesday and there were more than enough seats/tables. Location is so easy to find and service was friendly Family was visiting for my mom's birthday and thought this was a must do event! 1 hour cruise along the Hudson with stunning views of the nyc skyline. There were 6 of us and the Shelly lobster roll came with 7 rolls. They were HUGE. I think it's well worth the $$. Btw they do not sub their bag of chips for fries lol. The drinks were good, but not all that strong if that's what you're looking for, and for the price i wish it was!! Everything was fresh and tasty. The vibes on the boat was very party like and would be fun to come with friends! Music was blasting and the workers were having a blast dancing and laughing while still serving haha My family and I agreed post cruise that we'd do it again but just grab drinks. Lobster roll was def for the experience but I'm not dying to go back to get another. All this + 5 drinks and a beer was around $350 ”
“ Very nice boat ride for only $5 The food arrived very fast and the staff were very alert. The place wasn't too packed which was surprising but it was very nice ”
“ Conveniently located in Manhattan, this boat tour is certainly worth the money. I highly recommend for a date night or group trip if you're in NY in the summer /fall season The food and service were both commendable. The food came out fast, fresh & was reasonably priced. The cocktails could've been stronger but was still good They play music such as " Empire State of mind " while sailing pass the Statue of Liberty! + you'll see others sailing alongside ur boat Highly recommend north river lobster co! ”
“ ************************ 1,300th Review *************************** Five star experience on North River Lobster Co. We came for a late lunch at 4pm on a weekend. We had evening plans so we wanted to eat and get off the boat before it left for the hour long cruise at 5 pm. All of the staff were amazingly helpful and made sure we got our food right away and got off the boat in time, and they waived the $5 per person cruise fee for our party because we weren't taking the cruise*. I had the main lobster roll and thought it was a very good and a great portion size. We also had oysters which were okay; the shucking could have been a little cleaner and they were served with a mignonette sauce that didn't have any shallots. Everything else great, I cant wait to come back and do the cruise. *This seems like a common sense thing to do, but I find the world operates with out common sense most of the time, so I was happily surprise to find some here. ”
